DEATH MADE TO MEASURE chronicles the decisions made by an individual under extreme pressure. Alfred Blum is helpless to prevent his family business, a fashion salon, from toppling under the weight of adverse economic conditions. To save his family's lifestyle and his own business, Blum finds a grim solution: He will use his own life insurance. Accordingly, he strikes a "business deal" with an unemployed man and both "partners" start out on a trip from which only one will return. Love, pride, honor, anguish - a complex interplay of all these emotions sparks Blum's desperate actions.
