The production and screenwriting team from "American Graffiti" (1973) brings us three American college students who discover the precarious nature of love and romance after crossing the Atlantic in search of a cultural learning experience in France. Writers Gloria Katz and Willard Huyck provide each student with a memorable out-of-classroom education: An amorous head mistress with a passion for contemporary Americana (hot tubs and Corvettes), a caviar-toting Casanova and a friendly French girl with a sincere interest in lasting relationships, especially with American students. By maintaining total creative control, Katz and Huyck were able to utilize the talents of relatively young, undiscovered actors, as well as the technical skills of a young French film production crew.
