Therese

Accurately nicnamed the "hidden surprise" of all recent film festivals, THERESE is an extraordinary film, telling with great passion and sensitivity the inspirational story of Therese Martin a Carmelite nun cannonized in 1925. At the age of 15, Therese's inexorable devotion to Christ led her to the Pope who granted her special permission to join the Carmelite order, despite her young age. The remaining years of her short life were inconsequential, except for her untiring faith and unwaivering spirit. Brilliant cinematography by Phillippe Rousselot (DIVA) adds to the power of this noteworthy film.
