Book of Love

Year: 2004
Country: United States
Run Time: 83 minutes

There comes a time when a wonderful marriage settles into mundane complacency. That's the state in which we find Elaine (Frances O'Connor) and David (Simon Baker). But everything changes when they meet Chet (Gregory Smith), an innocent 15-year-old full of youthful wonder and energy whom they immediately welcome into their home - and their lives. The threesome form an immediate bond, but a momentary lapse in judgment threatens to rupture the core of the trio's seemingly idyllic lives, which constantly keeps the audience wondering why the couple took in the teenager in the first place. A sensual tale of the complexity of marriage and desire, BOOK OF LOVE examines the choices we make in our daily lives - and the consequences that follow.
