WHAT IS THE FOREVER FUND?
The Cleveland International Film Festival Forever Fund is an important source of revenue for the future of the organization as we plan for our next 40 years and beyond!
WHAT ARE SOME GIVING OPTIONS?
The Forever Fund offers donors a wide variety of giving options. You can give now through cash or stocks. You can give later through a bequest in your will or by designating the CIFF as a beneficiary of your IRA, life insurance policy, or retirement plan. A charitable gift annuity will provide you with a guaranteed income stream for life while the organization invests your assets.
HOW ARE GIFTS USED?
Gifts are used for either general support or endowment building, as determined by the donor. General support ensure the day-to-day operations of the organization will continue. Endowment building acts as a reserve for the CIFF, with only the earnings being used annually so the principal can be invested and grow over time. An endowment can be funded during your lifetime or through your will or trust. It can be in your name or in the name of someone you want to honor or remember. Many components of the CIFF can be endowed--from awards, to film categories, to educational programs.
