What Competitions and Awards are CIFF46 films eligible for?
The Cleveland International Film Festival is honored to present numerous competitions and awards that recognize talented filmmakers with cash prizes (ranging from $1,000 to $15,000) for their work on features and shorts. All CIFF46 feature films are eligible for the Roxanne T. Mueller Audience Choice Award, presented with generous support from the Callahan Foundation—started in 1968 by Cleveland nuclear engineer, inventor, and businessman Joe Callahan. Join us in celebrating the 34th year of this renowned award, which has a $15,000 cash prize.
Many of our awards are determined by audience vote, so make sure to cast your vote via paper ballots provided at each in-person screening. All awards will be announced at our Closing Awards Ceremony at the Connor Palace on April 9, 2022, immediately following the last round of screenings.
